Beware of scam: If you received an email that appears to be from me or the Village requesting a wire transfer and referencing your past Plan Commission or Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) applications, please ignore it and do not proceed with any kind of payments/transfers. It seems a third party is scraping public records to create these fraudulent emails. The collects all application fees prior to bringing cases to the Plan Commission and ZBA.All official communications from the Village should be coming from emails ending in@oak-park.us. An investigation is ongoing.Community members are encouraged to exercise caution anytime they receive suspicious emails.Click herefor a list of tips from the Federal Bureau on Investigations intended to help prevent internet-enabled crimes.

Mission: The Zoning Board of Appeals rules on zoning variance petitions, special use permits, and appeals of interpretations of the zoning ordinance.

Length of Term: 5 years

Meeting Schedule: Meets at 7 p.m., the first Wednesday of every month at Village Hall, 123 Madison St. If you require assistance to participate in any Village program or activity, contact the ADA Coordinator at 708.358.5430 or e-mail adacoordinator@oak-park.us at least 48 hours before the scheduled activity.
