Request for Proposals

Under state law and local ordinance, all purchases of goods or materials that exceed $25,000 and any construction project exceeding $10,000 require formal procedures using bids/requests for proposals. Upon evaluation of the bids/proposals received, the Village Board must approve a contract with the awarded vendor. The local Prevailing Wage Ordinance may apply.

For construction projects, the Village of Oak Park’s uses a web-based process through Quest Construction Data Network. This process delivers construction project advertisements and bid documents in a timely and cost effective way. View construction project bid notices.

Alley Improvements

The Village is seeking bids from qualified contractors tocarry out alley improvements. Bids will be accepted until 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2025.

Dell Computer Equipment

The Village is seeking bids from qualified contractors for Dell computer equipment. Bids will be accepted until 4 p.m. local time on Friday, Feb. 21, 2025.

2025 Tree Pit Maintenance

The Village of Oak Park will receive bids from qualified contractors to install Porous Pave in tree pits during calendar year 2025. Bids will be accepted until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2025.

Material Testing

The Village is seeking bids from qualified contractors to perform material testing. Bids will be accepted until 10 a.m. local time on Tues., Feb. 18, 2025.

Historical Research on Reparations Qualification

The Village is seeking proposals from qualified historians, reasearchers or academic institutions to conduct a comprehensive historical review to determine whether the Village meets the qualifications for reparations. Bids will be accepted until noon local time on Feb. 28, 2025.

Water and Sewer Rate Study

The Village is seeking qaulifications from consultants to develop a five-year, comprehensive water and sewer rate study. Bids will be accepted until 3 p.m. local time on Wed., Feb. 12, 2025.

Bridge Rehabilitation Program

The Village is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to assist with the upcoming bridge rehabilitation program. Bids will be accepted until 10 a.m. on Thurs., Feb. 27, 2025. 

Landscape Consulting and Inspection Services

The Village requests the services of a qualified Consultant for the purpose of providing landscape consulting and inspection services for the Department of Public Works for 2025. Proposals will be received until 2 p.m. local time on Wednesday, Feb. 12.

Waste Characterization Study

The Village of Oak Park is seeking proposals for a Waste Characterization Study, which will identify the composition of residential waste streams in Oak Park and provide staff with recommended viable strategies for meeting the waste diversion and reduction needs, goals, and priorities of the Village. Proposals will be accepted until 4 p.m. local time on Monday, Feb. 24.

Racial Equity Policy Audit

The Village of Oak Park is seeking proposals from qualified firms to conduct a Racial Equity Policy Audit. Proposals shall be returned on or before Friday, Feb. 21 by email before noon local time.

Exchange migration on prem to hybrid cloud

The Village is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to provide a setup and migration form on-prem hosted Exchange to hybrid Office 365 with a cloud-based backup solution. Bids will be accepted until 4 p.m. local time on Friday, Jan. 24, 2025.

Utility Pavement Patchment Services

The Village of Oak Park will receive Bids from qualified contractors to perform utility pavement patching of streets with a concrete base course and an asphalt surface as a result of Village utility repairs, during the calendar year 2025 pursuant to this Request for Bids. Bids will be accepted at the Public Works Center, 201 South Blvd., Oak Park, IL 60302, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., until 3:00 p.m. local time on Friday, January 24, 2025.

Roosevelt Road Plan Update

The Village of Oak Park and the City of Berwyn (“Communities”) seeks proposals for a Roosevelt Road Corridor Plan Update that will establish a new vision for the corridor and outline a short-and–long-term implementation strategy. This also includes the integration of long-term community and economic development strategies that strengthen the corridor’s tax base. Proposals will be accepted until 4 p.m. local time on Wed., Jan. 29, 2024.
