Musicians needed…Enthusiastic volunteers are being sought to perform for the senior citizens who attend the lunch program from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. weekdays at the Township Senior Services Center, 130 S. Oak Park Ave. Just call 708.383.8060 for more information.

Book bike visits…Check out books, movies and music while learning about local library services and programs during visits by the book bike from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., every fourth Thursday weather permitting at the Township Senior Services Center, 130 S. Disability consultations…Older adults and individuals 18 and over with a disability can get free assistance with local, state and federal programs from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursdays at West Suburban Medical Center campuses at Building A, Community Room 1104, 7411 Lake St., or room 1062 at 3 Erie Court. Call 844.794.4301 for a confidential appointment.

Memory café…Individuals living with memory loss and their care partners are invited to spend time at the Memory Café to connect with others, share snacks and enjoy recreational and educational programs in an open-house style. The café will be open from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Tuesdays Sept. 17 and Oct. 15 at the Township Senior Center, 130 S. Oak Park Ave. Call 708-383-8060 or email memorycafe@oakparktownship.org to register or volunteer.

Rules of the road class…Senior citizens interested in brushing up on their knowledge of driving rules and regulations are invited to a rules-of-the road class scheduled for 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., Wed., Oct. 9 at the Township Senior Center, 130 S. Oak Park Ave. A representative from the Secretary of State’s office will present the free class. Space is limited. Call 708.383.8060 to register.
