Request for Proposals

Under state law and local ordinance, all purchases of goods or materials that exceed $25,000 and any construction project exceeding $10,000 require formal procedures using bids/requests for proposals. Upon evaluation of the bids/proposals received, the Village Board must approve a contract with the awarded vendor. The local Prevailing Wage Ordinance may apply.

For construction projects, the Village of Oak Park’s uses a web-based process through Quest Construction Data Network. This process delivers construction project advertisements and bid documents in a timely and cost effective way. View construction project bid notices.

2027 Auto/Truck Body & Collision Repair

The Village of Oak Park will receive Bids from experienced vendors for auto/truck body and collision repairs during the calendar year 2027 pursuant to this Request for Bids. Bids will be accepted at the Public Works Center, 201 South Blvd., Oak Park, IL 60302 Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. local time until 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2026. Bids may also be emailed to Ken Crowley, Superintendent of Fleet Services, kcrowley@oak-park.us.

The Village of Oak Park will receive Bids from qualified contractors to preform Root Collar Excavation services during the calendar year 2026 pursuant to this Request for Bids. Human Resources Information System (HRIS)

The Village is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide a comprehensive Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Proposals will be accepted until 4 p.m. local time on Friday, Sept. 4, 2026.

Ridgeland Avenue Improvement Projects

The Village is seeking bids from qualified contractors for professional engineering services for the Ridgeland Avenue Improvement Projects. Bids will be accepted until 4 p.m. local time on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026.

Parkway Tree Pruning

The Village will receive bids from qualified contractors to perform parkway tree pruning during the 2027 calendar year. Bids will be accepted until 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2026. 

 

Envision Comprehensive Plan Update

The Village is accepting proposals from qualified planning consultants to prepare a revised and updated Comprehensive Plan. Proposals will be accepted until 4 p.m. local time on Monday, Aug. 7, 2026.

Worker's Compensation Claims Administration

The Village is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide worker's compensation claims administration. Bids will be accepted until 4 p.m. local time on Monday, June 8, 2026.

Unified Parking Enforcement, Citation, Permit and Mobility Management System

The Village is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide a unified parking, enforcement, citation, permit and mobility management system. Bids will be accepted until 2 p.m. local time on Monday, July 6, 2026.
