Feedback sought for Village Manager search

Oct. 6, 2021 - With the search for a new Village Manager underway, now is the time for Oak Park residents to give their feedback about the qualities the next person to hold the position should possess.

The Village Manager reports to the Village Board of Trustees and serves as the administrative head of the Village's municipal government, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our organization.

Two forums have been scheduled to provide residents with opportunities to share their views on the competencies and qualifications they'd like to see in the next Village Manager.

An in-person forum is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Sat., Oct. 9 at the Oak Park Public Library, 834 Lake St., and a virtual forum is set for 6:30 p.m. on Tue., Oct. 12 via Zoom. Click here for access to the virtual meeting via Zoom.

Residents are also encouraged to complete an online survey.

The Village of Oak Park operates under the village manager form of government.
