June 11, 2013 - A Day In Our Village, Oak Park's annual village festival, arrived on a gust of chilly late spring weather on June 2. The event, now in its 40th year, is billed as a way to introduce current and prospective residents to the diverse array of civic, cultural, social service, business, educational and religious organizations/groups in the Village.
According to organizers, the event featured more than 170 vendor booths - a new record for the festival - and 12 sponsors. Many thousands of people filtered through Scoville Park over the course of the day. To view a gallery of photos from the event, go to the Village's Facebook page.
