Thursday, March 27, 2014  ::   Oak Park Police are investigating an early morning shooting on the Village’s northeast side that left a 22-year-old man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his leg.

Friday, February 28, 2014  ::   Vehicle owners now can request up to 10 temporary, overnight on-street parking passes per vehicle per month - three are free and the other seven are $7 each. Requests for both free and paid passes can be made online.
Friday, February 28, 2014  ::   With yet another measurable snowfall likely, residents are urged to be prepared should the snow emergency rules be implemented and on-street parking restricted to give crews room to plow and salt.
Monday, February 17, 2014  ::   Oak Park's snow emergency parking plan is in effect beginning at 10 p.m., tonight, Mon., Feb. 17. Parking is prohibited on designated snow routes and restricted to one side on all other streets.
Monday, February 10, 2014  ::   About 25 volunteers received training and equipment in January, and the group is registered through the Federal Emergency Management Agency to assist public safety officials in Oak Park and surrounding towns.
