Pie Bake-Off

The Oak Park Farmers' Market's annual Pie Bake-Off was held on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026.

The 2026 contest winners are listed below. Click on the names of the pies for a copy of the award-winning recipe.

Eight bakers participated in the event, and after the contest extra pie was given away to Market patrons as samples.

The winning pie featured ingredients – a stone fruit pie with goat cheese and walnut crumb topping – featured ingredients from Market vendors Barry’s Berries, Geneva Lakes Produce, Jake’s Meat and Eggs and Chanticlare Farm.

The first-place winner not only receives bragging rights and a commemorative pie plate, but will also be invited to judge next year’s competition.

The Farmers’ Market Commission appreciates all contest entrants, as well as the Farmers’ Market volunteers and Village staff who helped to make the contest successful!
