Thursday, November 5, 2015  ::   A suspected gang-related shooting last night began as a confrontation in Chicago, but ended on the Village’s southeast side, leaving one man in critical condition at Cook County's Stroger Hospital.

Monday, November 2, 2015  ::   Officials commemorate the start of the Village's next major development downtown - Oak Park Station. Full-scale construction activities are set to begin by mid-December. The project includes apartments, retail space and public parking.
Thursday, October 29, 2015  ::   With a vote pending on noise walls along a reconstructed I-290, the Village will host an informational open house from 4 to 6 p.m., Thurs., Nov. 5, at Village Hall, 123 Madison St. Only properties identified under federal noise regulations will have a vote.

Friday, October 9, 2015  ::   Oak Park’s sewer backup prevention grant program has helped 184 households make improvements to address basement flooding in the three years since the program was launched.
