Wednesday, August 14, 2019  ::   Video provided by a private surveillance camera led to the arrest of a 31-year-old Chicago man in connection with an incident Monday similar to four reports last week of female pedestrians who said a man had grabbed their buttocks from behind then fled on foot.
Friday, August 9, 2019  ::   Oak Park Police are on the lookout for a man who has reportedly been coming up behind female pedestrians and touching them inappropriately before fleeing on foot. Four incidents have been reported this week.
Tuesday, August 6, 2019  ::   It's National Farmers' Market Week, and the Oak Park Farmers' Market is celebrating the occasion with its annual Corn Roast. Fresh-picked corn from Market growers will be sold by the ear hot off the roaster from about 8:30 a.m. to noon this Saturday.
Monday, July 29, 2019  ::   The Oak Park Fire Department responded Sunday night to a structure fire on the 400 block of Lenox Avenue that rendered a home uninhabitable. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Friday, June 28, 2019  ::   The many dimensions of Oak Park will be on display when the annual July 4th parade steps off at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 4 from Longfellow Park at Ridgeland Avenue and Adams Street. Parade participants march north on Ridgeland Avenue to Augusta Street.
Thursday, June 20, 2019  ::   Oak Park has joined the international movement to challenge citizens to reduce their impact on the environment by giving up single-use plastics during July. This global challenge is intended to raise awareness and initiate individual actions.
