Dog Walker Watch Program
Join Pawfficer Howie and Officer Christine Simkus in the Oak Park Police Department's Dog Walker Watch program!
The Oak Park Police Department's Community Policing Division is participating in the National Association of Town Watch's (NATW) "Dog Walker Watch" program, which encourages residents who regularly walk their dogs to serve as additional “eyes and ears” for law enforcement by learning how to recognize and report suspicious activity. NATW is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting community-based crime prevention initiatives in partnership with law enforcement including programs like National Night Out.
