Celebrate summer and good vibes in Oak Park with the Oak Park River Forest Chamber of Commerce's First Fridays summer street festival series. On the first Friday of each month, a different business district will be transformed into a vibrant, open-air celebration with live music, local vendors and family fun.
 
The Chicago–Austin Street Festival kicks off this year’s First Fridays series, bringing food, music, and community energy to Chicago Avenue between Lombard Ave. and Humphrey Ave. On Friday, July 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the block comes alive with live entertainment, local flavors, and neighborhood connections.
 
Each First Friday highlights a different Oak Park business district—this month, it’s all about Chicago–Austin. Come take a stroll, grab a bite, and enjoy a summer afternoon with your community.
 
First Fridays are free and open to the public.
