Energy-saving solutions for building owners and renters

The Village of Oak Park is partnering with EnergySense Resilience Center (EnergySense) to drive community-wide energy efficiency.

The EnergySense team will be hosting a series of energy efficiency workshops focusing on ways owners of large commercial and residentail buildings and their tenants can work together to reduce utility costs, lower energy use and improve energy efficiency.

All of the workshop sessions will take place from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Oak Park Public Library, 834 Lake St. The dates and topics are as follows: 

• March 24 (canceled): The Efficient Tenant
  Strategies for tenants to reduce their energy spend
• April 7: Shared Savings
  How tenants and owners win together on energy efficiency
• April 28: Shared Momentum
  Turning efficiency into building value

With more than 20 years of experience assessing public and private sector buildings across the state of Illinois, the EnergySense team looks forward to providing support to building owners and tenant throughout the Oak Park community.
