Early Voting Begins at Village Hall on March 2

Oak Park and Suburban Cook County voters can cast an early ballot for the 2026 Gubernatorial Primary Election seven days a week beginning Mon., March 2 through Mon., March 16 at Village Hall, 123 Madison St.

Voting hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays (March 8 and March 15).

Voters are asked to enter Village Hall via the courtyard entrance on Madison Street. The door at the northeast side of the building will be marked with an American flag. There is also an accessible entrance with an elevator available on the west side of building off of Lombard Avenue.

Voter Registration will be offered during early voting hours at Village Hall for those individuals who missed the registration deadline. Valid identification is required to register during the early voting period and a vote must be cast immediately after registration. A driver’s license or picture ID is preferred, along with an additional item such as a lease or utility bill with current address.

Residents of Oak Park and River Forest age 60 or older and those of any age with disabilities may utilize the Oak Park Township’s curb-to-curb bus service on a first come, first served basis from 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. To assist those qualified in need of transportation to early voting, rides can be scheduled up to one week in advance by calling Oak Park Township at 708.383.4806. Same day reservations may be accepted based on availability. There is a suggested donation of $1 per ride.

Please note that Village Hall is not a polling place on Election Day, March 17. Additional information such as Election Day polling sites by address is available at www.cookcountyclerk.com/elections.
