Village, Greater Chicago Legal Clinic to Host ’Know Your Rights’ Works

The Village of Oak Park has partnered with the Greater Chicago Legal Clinic to host a series of free workshops that will focus on immigration issues in and around the community.
The first workshop has been scheduled for Tues., Feb. 18 from 6-7 p.m. in the Community Room (room 101) at Village Hall (123 Madison St.). The workshop is free, open to the public and no registration is required.
Additional workshops in the series are still being planned. More information about dates, times, locations and topics will be shared by the Village of Oak Park once finalized.
Greater Chicago Legal Clinic has assisted more than 500,000 clients with civil legal matters since its founding in 1981. It began as the South Chicago Legal Clinic, a storefront office helping members of the community impacted by the reduction in the operation of the steel mills.
