Village Hall is closed today in observance of Memorial Day.
The Oak Park Police Department Honor Guard will take part in the annual Memorial Day ceremony for the community to be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 25 at the Peace Triumphant Memorial in Scoville Park, 800 Lake St. The ceremony will recognize and honor the veterans who have lost their lives in service to our country.
Refuse and recycling collection will be delayed by one day this week as a result of the holiday. Should an incident that doesn't quite rise to the level of a 911 emergency occur when Village Hall is closed, residents may call the Oak Park Police Department non-emergency number 708.386.3800 for assistance.
