Bump 2 Baby - Holistic Perspective on Maternal Care

Maternal Ed Series crop.png
This event is a powerful and informative community forum on maternal health that will center the experiences of Black mothers. It will be the first of a series of educational events to foster open dialogue, provide essential resources, and uplift the voices of those working on the front lines to improve Black maternal health outcomes. Register to attend at: https://collab4kids.org/bmh/
Every birthing person deserves consistent, high-quality care, no matter the circumstances. In this event, four experts on maternal health will speak and answer questions – a doula, a midwife, a pediatrician, and a family medicine doctor. The conversation will explore the ideas of high-quality care, comfort & safety, and consistency.
This event is FREE with dinner and child care provided. Special thanks to Passion Eats Soul Food and Catering, for catering!
Space is limited! If for any reason you cannot attend this event after you have registered, please email health@oak-park.us a spot is available for another participant. Thank you!
If you have any questions about this event, please contact Clerk Christina Waters at clerkwaters@oak-park.us.
