2025 Tour de Proviso
The villages of Oak Park, Forest Park and River Forest will host the Sixth Annual Tour de Proviso on Saturday, October 4 to promote health and wellness across Proviso Township and its neighboring villages.
This free annual bike ride brings together neighboring communities for a morning of cycling and regional connection across many communities including Bellwood, Broadview, Forest Park, Maywood, Oak Park, River Forest and more.
Originally started in 2020 by Mayor Katrina Thompson of Broadview as a way to foster wellness during the pandemic, the annual event is organized in partnership with Best of Proviso Township and has grown into a rotating, multi-community ride. Each year, a different municipality takes the lead in organizing the route and activities. Oak Park is hosting Tour de Proviso for the first time and is looking forward to welcoming riders this fall.
Please note that registration will close on Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 4 p.m.
