This is a single class position under direction of the Public Health Director. This position will perform a variety of duties involved in enforcing Village ordinances governing the care and keeping of animals in the Village; and to impound, care for and assist with redemption of animals as appropriate.
Possession of a high school degree or equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade is required. Possession of, or ability to, obtain an appropriate, valid driver’s license. Ability to obtain a license as a Certified Euthanasia Technician by the Department of Professional Regulation within 6 months of hire. Ability to obtain Pest Control Certification within 6 months of hire.
