Community Cleanup Day

Volunteers clean up Oak Park along Austin Blvd.
In celebration of National Volunteer Week and Earth Month during the month of April, the Village of Oak Park and the Office of the Village Clerk are organizing the second annual Oak Park Neighborhood Spring Cleanup on Saturday, April 12.

This family-friendly event will begin with a complimentary light breakfast at 8:30 a.m. at Village Hall (123 Madison St.). From 9 a.m. until approximately 1 p.m., volunteers, including Oak Park elected officials and staff, will take the streets for a coordinated effort to clean up the community. The Village will be providing heavy duty trash bags, coated safety gloves, brooms, shovels, litter pickers, etc. for the event.

Volunteers of all ages are welcome to participate and will receive a neighborhood cleanup t-shirt. All participants, or a guardian, will be asked to sign a liability waiver on site before the start of the activity. To volunteer, please complete the form below:

Those who are unable to participate on April 12, but are otherwise interested in the effort to Keep Oak Park Beautiful, can click here to learn more about the Village’s Neighborhood Clean-up Program.
