The Office of Economic Vitality is a newly established division within the Village Manager’s Office that is being spearheaded by John Melaniphy, Assistant Village Manager of Economic Vitality.
The Office of Economic Vitality focuses on strengthening the local economy by supporting business growth, expansion and retention. It serves as a key resource for businesses looking to expand within Oak Park, offering strategic assistance, data insights and access to resources that help businesses thrive.

The Office of Economic Vitality operates from 1010 Lake St. in the heart of Oak Park’s downtown business district.
The Village's Economic team is ready and available to meet with businesses to help grow their operations.
