Farmers' Market Commission

Mission: The Farmers’ Market Commission works closely with the Market Manager to make the Oak Park Farmers’ Market one of the most successful farmers’ markets in Illinois. The Commission coordinates special events, helps publicize the market, volunteers on market Saturdays and recommends any changes in operating policies and/or regulations to the Market Manager and Village Board.

Length of Term: 3 years

Meeting Schedule: Meets at 7 p.m., the second Wednesday of each month at Village Hall, 123 Madison St. If you require assistance to participate in any Village program or activity, contact the ADA Coordinator at 708.358.5430 or email adacoordinator@oak-park.us at least 48 hours before the scheduled activity.

Information to Consider: Serving on the Oak Park Farmers' Market Commission can be demanding - especially during the market season of mid-May through October when commissioners are required to share some on-site duties.
