The Disability Access Commission advises the Village in facilitating full participation in community activities by persons with disabilities, to bring persons with disabilities into the mainstream of Oak Park life by recognizing that persons with disabilities can lead proud and productive lives, to promote universal access throughout the Village, and to heighten public awareness to the needs of Villagers with disabilities. Meets at 6 p.m., the fourth Tuesday of each month at Village Hall, 123 Madison St. If you require assistance to participate in any Village program or activity, contact the ADA Coordinator at 708.358.5430 or e-mail adacoordinator@oak-park.us at least 48 hours before the scheduled activity.
