Thursday, December 28, 2017  ::   Information gathered by Oak Park Police detectives led to the arrest Wednesday of the third and final suspect in a Dec. 11 attempted robbery of a 7-11 store at 240 Chicago Ave.
Wednesday, December 20, 2017  ::   As of Jan. 1, shoppers in Oak Park’s larger retail stores are being charged 10 cents for every single-use bag the merchant provides to carry home purchases. Reusable bags are available to all residents free of charge in the lobby at Village Hall and the Public Works Center.
Tuesday, December 19, 2017  ::   The 6-year-old child taken Saturday by her mother during a court-supervised visit at an Oak Park restaurant has been found safe. The mother is in custody and the father on his way to pick up his daughter.
Monday, December 18, 2017  ::   Oak Park Police are investigating the robbery of a pedestrian that occurred at about 6:40 a.m., today near Harrison Street and Carpenter Avenue. No weapons were involved and no contact was made between the victim and suspect.
Wednesday, December 13, 2017  ::   More than 75 individuals, organizations and businesses were recognized at the Village of Oak Park's annual community awards ceremony Dec. 13 at the Nineteenth Century Club.
Tuesday, December 12, 2017  ::   Oak Park Police have made another arrest in connection with three recent carjackings in the community. So far this year, Oak Park Police have arrested nine individuals in connection with 10 separate carjacking incidents.

Thursday, November 30, 2017  ::   Oak Park Police are investigating an attempted carjacking reported at about 6:20 p.m., Tuesday, November 28, in the 700 block of north Lombard Avenue. No injuries were reported.
