Oak Park residents and business operators are invited to share their views on regulating single-use plastic shopping bags in our community as has been done in Chicago and Evanston.
Members of the Environment & Energy Commission have gathered information on the topic from across the country for discussions at their regular meetings. Before making a recommendation to the Village Board on possible action, they want to have a broader discussion with the community, beginning with the survey.
