Wallet, phone taken at gunpoint

Feb. 15, 2018 – A 31-year-old Oak Park man reported that his wallet and cell phone were taken at gunpoint at about 9:15 p.m., Wed. Feb. 14 as he walked westbound on Randolph Street at Harvey Avenue.

The victim told Police a small, white four-door sedan, possibly a Toyota, pulled up to the curb, a man and woman exited, displayed a handgun and ordered him to put up his hands.

As the female suspect pointed the gun toward the victim, her partner removed a cell phone and wallet from the victim’s pocket. The pair then got back into the vehicle, which fled eastbound on Randolph Street.

No injuries were reported.

The female suspect was described as African-American, 19 to 25 years old, with a thin build, wearing a long, dark shirt or skirt and black leggings.

The male suspect was described as African-American, 21 to 26 years old, with a muscular build, wearing a dark jacket and dark pants.
