Residents are invited to an open house as the Park District of Oak Park officially opens the doors to the new Gymnastics and Recreation Center at 21 Lake St. The event will include guided tours, a sneak peak at gymnastics team practice, refreshments, giveaways and other activities.
Kids can enjoy an inflatable obstacle course and try out the new in-ground tumbling track, while parents watch the action from the second-floor viewing balcony.
The 18,670 square-foot facility will house an expanded program of gymnastics classes as well as a birthday party service, fitness classes in the two multi-purpose rooms and many other recreational activities. Visit www.oakparkgymnastics.com for more details.
