The Deep Roots Project will be sharing information with residents about converting toxic lawns into beautiful edible landscapes, and the Cook County Forest Preserve District will be distributing information about biking and walking paths, guided hikes and more. Members of the Village's Energy and Environment Commission will also be on hand passing out a limited supply of free reusable bags in an effort to encourage shoppers to bring reusable bags throughout the season.

Guest vendor: Bushel and Peck's

Chef demo: Chef Sieger Bayer from The Heritage will host a BBQ chef demo with free samples from 9 to 11:00 a.m.
