Thursday, August 24, 2017  ::   The Village of Oak Park has revoked the business licenses for two of the three massage spas closed earlier this month. The third spa withdrew a pending application for a business license.
Thursday, August 24, 2017  ::   Construction is underway on the 12-story Lincoln Development, a $60 million mixed-use structure being built at the corner of Harlem Avenue and South Boulevard. When completed in early 2019, the building will feature 263 residential units, 10,000 square feet of retail space and parking for 398 vehicles.
Monday, August 14, 2017  ::   As part of its efforts to eliminate mosquitoes that carry West Nile virus, the Des Plaines Valley Mosquito Abatement District has scheduled spraying in Oak Park after about 9 p.m., Tues. Aug. 15, weather permitting.

Friday, August 4, 2017  ::   Bell American Group, LLC has officially withdrawn its request for a special use permit and zoning allowances to build a Taco Bell with drive-through service on Madison Street by Lyman Avenue (500 – 508 S. Lyman Ave.). Withdrawal of the application means the Zoning Board of Appeal’s recommendation against the requests will not be on the Village Board regular meeting agenda for Mon., Aug. 7.
