Community Design Commission Mission: The Community Design Commission was established with the objective of developing a continuous program to enhance the aesthetic quality of life in the Village of Oak Park. Its tasks and projects include mini-gardens, providing design advice, developing resource material to aid in private property development, in addition to hearing requests for sign regulation variations. Membership: 13 members Qualifications: At least six of the members shall be trained as design professionals. The remaining members can be from other backgrounds and professions, provided they share an interest in the work of the commission. Length of Term: 3-year term Meeting Schedule: Meets at 7 p.m., the fourth Wednesday of every month at Village Hall, 123 Madison St. If you require assistance to participate in any Village program or activity, contact the ADA Coordinator at 708.358.5430 or e-mail adacoordinator@oak-park.us at least 48 hours before the scheduled activity.
