Township program can help with youth substance abuse

Parents and guardians of middle school or high school aged youth are invited to enroll in FACE-IT (Families Acting Collaboratively to Educate and Involve Teens), a program that provides a confidential group setting to learn about and discuss the legal and health effects of substance abuse. Topics covered include communication, handling stress and underage drinking. Two-hour weekly session are held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursdays. Enrollment typically is for five to 12 sessions.
