The Oak Park Sculpture Walk returns for a fifth season this month, with 12 sculptures in an outdoor exhibit through Sept. 5 in Mills Park near Pleasant and Home avenues.
Brochures with details about the art and the artists will be available on site, at Oak Park libraries, area businesses near the park and online at www.oak-park.us/sculpturewalk.
The Sculpture Walk is organized by the Public Art Advisory Commission, citizen volunteers who promote the acquisition and placement of public art that reflects diversity and artistic expression, and enhances the aesthetic environment of the Village. Sculptures for the walk are chosen through a juried competition and vary in materials.
