Sidewalk Replacement The Village offers public sidewalk replacement on a 50/50 cost-shared basis with property owners. Sidewalks in need of replacement are identified through a visual inspection, and residents affected given a cost estimate. Residents also can request sidewalk repairs by contacting the Public Works Engineering Division. Requests are typically processed in the Spring, and participation is dependent upon the availability of funds and the availability of the contractor hired by the Village.
