Potholes, Street and Alley Maintenance All streets in the Village are cleaned routinely during the late night and early morning hours, Monday through Friday. Compliance with posted parking restrictions is essential to allow for proper street sweeping The impact of weather conditions, particularly winter cold, snow, and salt, can be devastating to the conditions of an Oak Park street or alley. If you see a pothole that needs to be filled or a street that needs to be fixed, please contact the Public Works Department, 358.5700. Cleaner alleys make safer alleys. Alley Clean-up kits from the Keep Oak Park Beautiful campaign are available through the Public Works Department. Each kit contains plastic bags, refuse stickers, disposable rubber gloves and information on organizing a successful and safe event. Call 358.5700 for details.
