  • Vehicle Stickers All vehicles owned by Oak Park residents must have and display a current Oak Park Vehicle Sticker.  Vehicles must display valid registered vehicle plates.

  • How to Park in Stall All vehicles must be parked front-end in first within the space boundaries. Vehicles may occupy only one parking space. Park within your stall.

  • Vehicles Storage Prohibited Storage, repairs or servicing is not permitted.  Vehicles not in operating condition are prohibited from parking in the lot. Vehicles may not be covered.

  • Vehicle Circulation Vehicles are required to circulate regularly. Vehicles may be excluded from all or part of the lot at any time, with or without notice for maintenance, repairs, or snow removal.

  • Parking Permit Transfer and Refunds – Parking permits are not transferable unless authorized by the Village.  Any change of record from the information submitted on the original permit application including changes in vehicle, person or address, must be reported to the Village. An administrative fee of $2 will be assessed for re-issuing, transferring or replacing a lost or stolen permit decal (as appropriate).  Failure to change information on file with the Village may result in invalidation of parking permit and loss of lot parking privileges. Refunds are issued on a monthly, prorated basis. Entire decal must be returned before the last business day in any given month to receive a full month's refund.

  • Renewals – Parking permit renewals are not guaranteed.  In the event the Village offers a parking permit for renewal in any subsequent quarter after the initial permit purchase, a renewal letter is mailed via U.S. Mail as a convenience, but such notice is not a parking permit guarantee. Parking permits may only be renewed on the last business day prior to the expiration of the existing permit in person at Village Hall.  Renewal by U.S. Mail or on-line also is allowed in advance of the deadline established each quarter – which generally is six business days prior to the end of the quarter to allow for return of the permit via U.S. Mail).

  • Parking Citations – Outstanding parking citations must be addressed prior to the purchase of a parking permit or renewal of an existing parking permit.
