Lead Poisoning Prevention click to watch a video on dealing with lead when remodeling

Investigations of lead exposure in the environment of children identified with lead poisoning are conducted. Staff provides parents of lead poisoned children with information on how to reduce exposure in their homes. Education also is conducted throughout the community on how to prevent childhood lead poisoning, as well as to encourage parents to have their children screened for lead poisoning.
