A legal notice published in area newspapers invites all interested parties to offer alternatives to the project currently proposed by Whiteco LLC for the publicly owned property at Harlem Avenue and Ontario Street. The legal notice appeared in the Chicago Tribune as well as in the Wednesday Journal and Oak Leaves newspapers. The deadline for submitting alternative proposals is 5 p.m., Mon., Oct. 18. Alternative proposals should be submitted to the Development Services Department, Village of Oak Park, 123 Madison St., Oak Park, IL 60302.
