Development Services Division

The Development Services Division is the economic development arm of the Village, whose staff strive to keep Oak Park a great place to live, work and conduct business. Development Services identifies opportunities and resources for business and real estate growth and provides information to businesses and developers interested in investing in the Village. Staff also focuses on business retention by helping existing small businesses to grow and prosper. Through efforts such as short-term and long-range economic development planning, and outreach efforts to retail and other businesses, Development Services works to expand and retain the viability of Oak Park's twelve commercial districts.
