The Active Transportation Alliance (formerly the Chicagoland Bicycle Federation), a non-profit, volunteer-based bicycling advocacy organization, worked with the Village to develop a plan to expand residents’ transportation options with new bikeways and bike parking near local businesses. The plan also helped identify programs to promote bicycling as a safe, comfortable transportation option. Click here for more information on the plan. Information also is available by calling 358.5726 or e-mailing BikePlan@oak-park.us e-mail the bike planning group.
