Building Codes Advisory Commission

Mission:  The Building Codes Advisory Commission advises and makes recommendations on model code amendments, updates, and interpretations to the Village of Oak Park's Director of Building and Property Standards.

Membership:   9 members

Qualifications: Membership shall include a registered architect, licensed plumber, licensed electrician, HVAC contractor, codes professional and fire protection contractor. Additionally, three members shall be contractors in any construction trade who currently are licensed to do business in the Village of Oak Park.

Length of Term: 3-year term

Meeting Schedule: Meets at 7 p.m., the third Thursday of every month at Village Hall, 123 Madison St. If you require assistance to participate in any Village program or activity, contact the ADA Coordinator at 708.358.5430 or e-mail adacoordinator@oak-park.us at least 48 hours before the scheduled activity.
